I just love the picture above (it's from a few years ago)...I want a wagon filled with pumpkins. I'm loading up on a few gourds and already have a couple of pumpkins. I must stop! One of the pumpkins is a gorgeous bluish-green color.
While It's technically the end of summer-- I'm still wearing summer-ish clothes (I won't give that up for a while or sandals). Don't get me wrong-- I love fall... Here are some things I'm digging.
What about you? Any favorites this September? Yep... I know- only a few days 'til October.. Happy weekend to you. -A.
Stay warm
I’m crazy for this dark gray hoodie from Whole Foods. I didn't take a picture of it-- but I will. It’s the perfect weight- not too thick and goes great with a pair of leggings or jeans. I bought one a few weeks ago and it’s in my regular rotation. I’ve had people ask me where I bought my hoodie and I’m telling you… get one. Gray hoodie, Whole Foods, 86th St. location, Indy, $19.99
Make up
I don’t wear foundation and prefer just a dab here and there of concealer. NARS concealer (applied with a brush) worked wonders on me during a week where I was crazy stressed out and lacking on tons of sleep. It’s my go-to concealer now. Be gone- tired eyes! NARS, $22.00 at Sephora. *I use the lightest shade-- but I am very fair-skinned.
TV
If you read the blog- you know I am a Francophile. & Naturally- I’ve been watching chef Eric Ripert’s new cooking show, On The Table. My favorite episode so far—is the one where Eric Ripert drinks martinis and cooks with actor Stanley Tucci. I’m digging the pace of the show and Eric Ripert’s honest approach to his guests and cooking. Ripert's sincerity is a breath of fresh air. On The Table, Reserve Channel on You Tube.
Listening to
"Stubborn Love" by The Lumineers
I need an anthem, a song I play in regular rotation and after listening to WTTS/92.3 lately… I’ve got “Stubborn Love” stuck in my head. It’s totally in a good way, though. It’s a fun-- kinda angsty, on my way to work song.
Slice of fall - dessert
I prefer cheesecake on the less sweet side and this homemade pumpkin cheesecake from WB Pizza gets it done. It’s spiced just right and tastes like fall (you know all pumpkin & cream cheese & spice- nutmeg, cinammon, etc). Wait- I'm ready for another piece. Pumpkin cheesecake (available by the slice), WB Pizza, Indianapolis. *p.s., I'm also crazy for WB Pizza's ultra-thin crust pizza...

hey, hey lady!!! how are you??? thanks for stopping by the ole blog. i love your picks for fall. i need to make a list myself!
