Hi. I hope you're having a good week so far. I'm almost finished with decorating for Christmas... just a few more ornaments to add to the tree. And, maybe a Christmas wreath to make. What about you? Are you baking cookies or busy shopping? Is it me-- or are the stores crazy busy all the time. Here are a few finds/faves.... Happy Wednesday... -A (p.s. Friday isn't too far off:)
1. Partanna olive oil: I ran out of this olive oil and made a mad dash to Nicole-Taylor's to stock up. I'm addicted to this stuff... It's fantastic on salads, lightly drizzled with a few squeezes of lemon. And, of course with pastas. Endless possibilities. Pick up a loaf of ciabatta and some pasta while you're there. Partanna, around $17 at Nicole-Taylor's Pasta and Market, 1134 E. 54th St., Suite C., Indianapolis (317) 2578-7374.

2. Dry erase dots: This was a total impulse buy during a stop at Office Depot to buy Christmas labels. I saw these dry erase dots and had to buy them. They're thin circles that you can stick on a wall (they also easily peel off) and you use a dry erase pen to write on them. I think they're intended for high school or college students to use... but they're also perfect for adults. Seriously-- a large to-do list right on the wall. So fun. It's like writing on the wall-- without actually writing on a wall. 2 dots with 1 dry erase pen, around $5 at Office Depot (located in bins near the register).

3. Wine box = keeper of firewood. I needed a place to put firewood and instead of buying something-- I decided to use this wine box. It stores a good amount of firewood and looks festive with this Christmas bow.

4. Trees, please. Silver. White. Green. Red. Trees in all sizes displayed on the mantle.
