One night last week I stopped in one of my favorite taco joints, El Pastorcito. Mexican food is tops with me and I frequently crave guacamole, tacos and a beer. I was nowhere near El Pastorcito, but, when I want a good taco and a beer... I will drive miles. And, it's not like I hadn't devoured a taco lately... I'd made carnitas a few nights prior. But- it was a rather blah day and I do believe in the restorative powers of the taco (at least with me).
So a few of us popped in El Pastorcito, sat at one of the booths and chowed down on tacos (I was especially digging the chorizo taco) and tamales & guacamole. I occasionally glanced at one of the TVs to see one of the soap operas on Telemundo and try and remember some Spanish words here and there... (p.s. I'm trying to learn Spanish).
We enjoyed a fun, laid-back dinner, & our bill was $25.00 (before tip) for 3 people. Seriously! Interested in reading more? You can read my other posts on El Pastorcito here, here, & here.
p.s. Do you have a fave Mexican restaurant in Indy? Leave a note in the comments... I plan on checking out a few more places in the next week or two.
