Need more staycation ideas? I'm here to help. I've got it-- sushi and a movie.
Suddenly Sushi
Ocean World has a sushi happy hour Sunday through Thursday around 5-7 p.m. (dine in only). Maki rolls (rice on the outside) start around $2.95 and up. I'm a sushi fanatic and I think Ocean World has some of the best sushi in town. Ocean World, 1206 W. 86th St., Indianapolis (317) 848-8901.
California roll
See a movie in style
Let's go to the movies. While I enjoy watching movies at home-for me- nothing compares to watching a movie at the theater. I've got a crazy crush on Landmark Theatres. It's quiet, clean, and the seats are comfortable (and, ahem, I take in a glass of wine with me). On my movie short list: Win Win (opens this weekend- which I've read the A+ reviews of and I'm a fan of Thomas McCarthy's The Station Agent and The Visitor) and Jane Eyre (because I'm a sucker for period pieces, longing glances, and angst in every direction). Grab a ticket, order up your beverage of choice (cocktail, wine, or maybe a Sun King?) and enjoy the show. Landmark Theatres, Keystone at the Crossing, Indianapolis (317) 579-3009.

I have never gone to Landmark Theatres, I think this will have to change. What's not to love about a movie and a cocktail?

Ocean World and WB pizza both good choices, two of my very own favorites. Have you been to H2O Sushi? I'm thinking about trying it out.
